54 years ago, Girijan Co-operative Corporation
(GCC) undertook the guardianship of the tribals (Girijans)
of Andhra Pradesh. To protect them from exploitative middlemen,
petty traders and establish a mutually beneficial relationship between
them and rest of the world.
