Natural Polyelectrolyte
Natfloc
developed from forest based tree seed, "Strychnus potatorum"
is very effective in a wide variety of solid-liqiud separation systems.
Natfloc
- a result of R& D work of GCC
has been tested for turbidity removal in a wide range of turbidity
levels upto 3000 Neflo Turbidity Units (NTU). Natfloc
can be used as a primary flocculant at higher turbidities or as
a secondary flocculant in conjunction with Alum in lower turbidities
for overall cost savings. The typical dosage varies from 1ppm-3ppm.
Natfloc since a natural Polyelectrolyte,
is recommended by Industrial Toxicological Research Center (ITRC),
Lucknow and Hoffkines, Mumbai for its safe usage in potable water
treatment.
